Nick Winn

Nick is the senior veterinary surgeon at Cathcart and Winn.
He leads a dynamic team of committed and enthusiastic
veterinary surgeons to provide veterinary expertise across
the companion animal field. He oversees continuing
professional development so that the skill set is always
updated, so that the team is always up to date and able
provide the highest levels of care.
He has always had a great passion for veterinary work and
has expertise in both orthopaedic and soft tissue surgery.
He trains and develops colleagues in these fields.
He has constantly been active in developing the practice and
investing in equipment and several redevelopments of the

He has now completed 30 years at Cathcart and Winn and
particularly enjoys seeing the practice develop and adopting
new techniques and technology.
He is proud to be the leader of such an outstanding team of
veterinary surgeons.
Away from work he has a busy family life, and to relax he
plays hockey and is a keen cyclist, this has included Land's
End to John O'Groats, Atlantic to the Med along the Pyrenees
and Farnham to Florence!

Sarah Moore
Veterinary Surgeon

Sarah is a highly experienced member of the team and brings
considerable expertise to the practice.
Sarah has special interests in cardiology, medicine and
acupuncture. She is veterinary manager of the Aldershot
Sarah qualified from London Vet School in 1990 and joined
Cathcart and Winn in July 1993. She knows the practice
inside out as she saw practice here as a student.
In her spare time she enjoys visiting the west country and
holidays in the Lake District.

Nicola Holehouse
Veterinary Surgeon

Nicola joined Cathcart and Winn in Novemeber 2007.
Nicola is excellent in all aspects of veterinary care, and
she leads the ultrasound team which is a key part of our
diagnostic work. Nicola also performs heart scans which
diagnose heart disease and allow early intervention and
Nicola qualified from the Royal Veterinary College in 2006,
initially working in Milton Keynes before moving back to
Surrey. Nicola has lived in Surrey and Hampshire for most of
her life and even saw practice here as a student.

Nicola is a keen horse-rider and in her spare time enjoys
competing in dressage and cross-country competitions. In
the past Nicola acheived 4th place at the National Winter
Championships in her final year at university. In any free
time she has left, Nicola also plays the cello to grade 8
and was a member of the local country youth orchestras as a
teenager which gave opportunities such as touring South
Africa and Europe and playing in the Royal Albert Hall.
Nicola still enjoys playing for family and friends when the
chance arises.

Alison Webb
Veterinary Surgeon

Alison joined Cathcart and Winn in February 1989.
Alison graduated from the London Vet School in 1988 working
full time with Cathcart and Winn for over ten years. She is
another very experienced veterinary surgeon and now works
part time.
