Cathcart & Winn

Nursing Team

Our nursing team is highly valued and play a very
significant role in the practice.
They enable us to provide the best of care for your pets and
provide them with TLC while they are away from you.
Qualified nurses are Registered Veterinary Nurses (RVN) and
this qualification takes a lot of study and effort to
acheive.
We are recognised as a nurse training centre and are
committed to our part in training future RVNs.

Kylie Cotton RVN
Head Nurse

border="1" alt="Kylie Roberts">
I joined Cathcart and Winn in 1996 as a student veterinary
nurse. I studied at Farnborough college of technology and
qualified in the summer of 1999. I was made head nurse that
winter and have been working as the head veterinary nurse
since.
I am responsible for the training of our current student
veterinary nurses helping them to achieve the NVQ in
veterinary nursing. My main interests are training,
preventative health and radiography. I have 3 cats and a dog
which currently live with my parents.

Kay Abraham RVN
My name is Kay I qualified in 2001, I worked here previously
and this is where I trained and qualified. I am now married
to Mark Abraham and have 2 daughters Naomi & Grace, the
eldest has just started school, so I work here at Cathcart &
Winn part time.
I have 2 lovely cats Emily & Hugo both rescues. I enjoy all
aspects of my role and have a particular interest in
theatre. I have just taken up aerobics in an effort to get
fit, but most of my spare time is taken by my little girls.

Lucia Jackson RVN
I joined Cathcart & Winn in December 2010 as a kennel nurse.
In September 2011 I became a trainee vet nurse. It's my role
to keep kennels clean & tidy, and make sure that your pets
are safe and comfortable during their stay. I started my
course in september and am looking forward to learning the
science behind veterinary nursing and to being given more
responsibility as I progress.
I have a lovely ginger cat called Salvador Dali (Sal for
short), who currently lives in Slovenia with my Mum.

Rachel Dodsworth RVN
Since a very young age I have always wished to train as a
veterinary nurse, having cared for numerous pets. After
completing an Extended Diploma in Animal Management at
Sparsholt College,I came to Cathcart and Winn to fulfil my
ambition.

Naomi Key RVN
Naomi has been working at Cathcart and Winn for 2 years, starting as a locum and taking a permanent role after moving to Farnham to live with her partner.
Originally from London, Naomi has been nursing for 13 years and qualified in 2008. She has a love of cats and has a Maine Coon called Harley who lives with her parents. She is looking forward to getting her own cat now she has her own home.
In her spare time she enjoys walking, travelling to new cities and currently attempting to refurbish furniture!

Katie Richins SVN
Katie joined the practice in November 2015, looking for a change in career. She worked for 18 months in the kennels, learning about the job role before starting her nursing training in April 2017. She is now about to start second year. In her spare time she loves socialising with friends and travelling with her partner. She has no pets - surprisingly! But in the future would love another Cocker Spaniel.
